We serve all-natural, no hormones, and in-house prepared beef and chicken shawarma.
Signature dishes include ground beef or chicken kabobs, chicken tikka, falafel, and appetizers like hummus, tabbouleh, diced cucumber salad. Get a great sandwich and a side salad or fries. We have large portions of fresh Greek salad, Sahara salad, and grilled chicken salad.

Joe Salem opened Sahara Taste of the Middle East after years of experience in the food and catering industry. Joe wanted to offer a taste of the middle east that isn’t often experienced in the states. His quality and care in preparing the food are second to none.

Joe’s passion and love for food have not stopped since his graduation from Mesa college 30 years ago from their culinary program. He became famous with lines out the door in a little deli inside a supermarket downtown..he takes great pride in preparing the food using natural hormone and chemical-free meats and poultry.
